Xora, a ClickSoftware Company, Wins Best of SaaS Showplace (BoSS) Award

THINKstrategies, Inc., the leading strategic consulting company focused on the business implications of the Cloud Computing services market, announced today Xora, a ClickSoftware company, has been named a winner of the Best of SaaS Showplace (BoSS) Award. This program promotes the measurable business benefits delivered by today’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.

The BoSSAwards is an ongoing program administered by THINKstrategies’ Cloud Computing Showplace to recognize SaaS companies that are delivering measurable business benefits to specific user organizations. These benefits can include increased sales, lower costs, higher customer satisfaction, faster operations and greater profitability.

Xora offers mobile workforce management solutions to more than 15,000 organizations in almost 20 industries including, construction, communications and utilities, field services, healthcare, public sector, and transportation and distribution. Xora’s applications are designed to help any organization that has mobile employees increase productivity on the road and in the office; reduce fuel, mileage and labor costs; improve customer satisfaction and drive new revenue. Because of its cloud-based service delivery model, Xora’s solutions are easy to use, cost-effective to deploy and integrate with back-office systems.

An example of Xora’s measurable business benefits is the Town of Cheektowaga, N.Y. The town’s 70-person highway department maintains 400 roads, managing snow and ice removal, leaf pickup, and road construction and paving. Xora was deployed to help track vehicle locations; analyze driver routes, stops and drive time; and improve fleet productivity. Leveraging geo-fencing permitted by Xora, the town was able to balance its workload, moving employees around to ensure that roads get plowed quickly. Xora allowed the town to monitor its vehicles and validate whether citizen complaints were warranted. The Xora Cloud-based solution enabled the highway department to streamline employee travel, resulting in savings of approximately $100,000 a year – a significant amount for a town the size of Cheektowaga.

Based on these client success stories, Xora has been named a Best of SaaS Showplace (BoSS) Award winner.

“We are pleased to be recognized by THINKstrategies for the measurable business benefits we are delivering to our customers,” said Howard Latham, vice president of Sales and Customer Success at Xora. “Our customers need to show quantifiable benefits of any investment they make and our solution was designed with that in mind. Whether it is a reduction in costs through productivity improvements or an increase in revenue because of greater customer satisfaction, Xora can clearly show that it delivers a strong return on investment.”

“Reducing operating costs while improving constituent satisfaction is a critical objective for every municipality and business today,” stated Jeffrey M. Kaplan, Managing Director of THINKstrategies, the strategic consulting firm which conceived and administers the Cloud Computing Showplace. “Xora’s cloud-based solution enables organizations to achieve these objectives quickly and demonstrate their value easily.”
