Samanage Wins THINKstrategies’ Best of SaaS Showplace (BoSS) Award

THINKstrategies, Inc. announced today that Samanage has been named a winner of the Best of SaaS Showplace (BoSS) Award. This program promotes the measurable business benefits delivered by today’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.

The BoSS Awards is an ongoing program administered by THINKstrategies’ Cloud Computing Showplace to recognize SaaS companies that are delivering measurable business benefits to specific user organizations. These benefits can include increased sales, lower costs, higher customer satisfaction, faster operations and greater profitability.

Samanage is a leading provider of Cloud-based IT service desk and asset management software that helps companies govern their IT environments. Samanage empowers organizations with an innovative IT service management (ITSM) platform that automates and simplifies daily IT tasks, including problem and change management, hardware and software tracking, a contract repository, and inventory risk detection. Samanage’s capabilities help IT departments deliver fast, quality service while reducing their workloads.

A specific example of the measurable business benefits derived from Samanage’s Cloud-based solution is Contra Costa ARC, a non-profit organization based in California. One IT administrator now uses Samanage’s solution to manage about 350 staff members’ hardware and software across 12 sites. Deployment of the Samanage platform took less than 2 weeks compared to an average 6-16 weeks to implement other ITSM systems. Samanage was able to generate ROI from day one, and savings on redundant license increased to 15-25% as a result of risk and compliance gap detection features.

Based on this customer success story, Samanage has been named a Best of SaaS Showplace (BoSS) Award winner.

“We are honored to be named as a BoSS Award winner and recognized for the measurable business benefits we are delivering to our customers,” said Saar Bitner, VP Marketing of Samanage. “Born and raised in the cloud, Samanage will continue its efforts to provide the best cloud solution for IT Service Desk and Asset Management.”

“As organizations become more dispersed, their ITSM requirements grow,” stated Jeffrey M. Kaplan, Managing Director of THINKstrategies, the strategic consulting firm which conceived and administers the Cloud Computing Showplace. “Samanage’s Cloud-based ITSM capabilities enable organizations of all sizes address these challenges and ensure more cost-effective delivery of their IT services.”
