Doug Harr has been in the forefront of the migration to Cloud-based, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions over the past decade, leading IT organizations at a number of leading companies such as Ingres Corporation, Portal Software and Hewlett Packard.

At Splunk, Doug is responsible for the team which supports the company’s strategies and satisfies its IT needs by using private and public cloud solutions. Doug oversees Splunk’s corporate analytics and internal Splunk implementation to deliver web analytics, application management, security forensics and operational intelligence for the company at large. Splunk was recently named Application Performance Management Innovator by Gartner. Doug is also a member of the CISE CIO consortium, a faculty member for the CIO Executive Development Program at San Francisco State University, and lectures at several other universities and CIO forums. 

Doug’s participation in the Cloud Analytics Summitis an example of the innovative thinkers coming together for this executive forum aimed at providing an intimate environment to discuss key trends, showcase innovative solutions, and trade best practices.
